"isolationist's spaces"
a video piece by Jason Coffman
black & white, approximately 4 minutes
"isolationist's spaces" is a video work that I submitted for the Gospel Plasma/Christ A-Go-Go 2000 travelling arts festival. It is completely silent, and is meant to be played with a random track by anaphylaxis in order to change the audience's perception of the piece each time it is viewed. The film was shot on a Sony Handicam Hi-8 camcorder; it is in black and white, and has an aspect ratio of 16:9 (it appears letterboxed on a regular television). I shot "isolationist's spaces" over the course of one day in the new Student Center at Oakland City University before its official opening earlier this year.
